BACKGROUND & EDUCATION

A scuba diver takes a photograph underwater near a rock with a lionfish on it, surrounded by coral and marine life.

Sarah believes that effective conservation storytelling starts with listening. She approaches each project by learning from the researchers, knowledge keepers, local communities, and ecosystems involved.

Her process is collaborative and thoughtful - built on trust, open communication, and shared intention. Whether she is documenting a research expedition, a shoreline cleanup, a restoration project, or the subtle relationships within an ecosystem, Sarah aims to create imagery that feels honest, grounded, and hopeful.

She works quietly and patiently, allowing the story to unfold naturally. Her goal is not only to capture strong visuals, but to create work that deepens understanding, supports conservation efforts, and inspires connection.
